This excellent American site prints and frames my photographs to a very high standard, and has lots of variables to choose from.
They also now print them as greeting cards.

I was really pleased to have my first submission accepted on this professional site, and it was rated an 8 – which is in the top 5%.

This has given me the motivation to keep taking photos.

“We are the leaves of one branch, the drops of one sea, the flowers of one garden”
Jean Baptiste Henry Lacordaire 1802 – 1861
The more we look for similarities in others, the sooner we’ll live in peace and harmony.

Bright yellow always makes us feel more cheerful, no matter how cold the weather, so select a beautiful photograph of a daffodil to celebrate Easter – your friends will love the unique design of the cards.

“And then my heart with pleasure fills, And dances with the daffodils”
William Wordsworth 1770 – 1850
This is the complete poem:
I wandered lonely as a cloud
That floats on high o’er vales and hills,
When all at once I saw a crowd,
A host, of golden daffodils;
Beside the lake, beneath the trees,
Fluttering and dancing in the breeze.
Continuous as the stars that shine
And twinkle on the milky way,
They stretched in never-ending line
Along the margin of a bay:
Ten thousand saw I at a glance,
Tossing their heads in sprightly dance.
The waves beside them danced, but they
Out-did the sparkling leaves in glee;
A poet could not be but gay,
In such a jocund company!
I gazed—and gazed—but little thought
What wealth the show to me had brought:
For oft, when on my couch I lie
In vacant or in pensive mood,
They flash upon that inward eye
Which is the bliss of solitude;
And then my heart with pleasure fills,
And dances with the daffodils.

Here's a romantic one:

"One may live without bread, not without roses"
Jean Richepin 1849 - 1926
Beautiful white roses will always be my favourites. White signifies purity, innocence and reverence, (not necessarily my characteristics . . . more that they don’t clash with my decorations!).
Red Roses symbolise desire and passion, and are well known for their declaration of love.
Yellow roses mean care and empathy, happiness, and the promise of a faithful friendship. David Beckham sends one to his wife Victoria every day, and I think their marriage is built on a strong foundation of friendship and fun . . . I’ll pass on the other ‘f’ word . . .
Orange roses are sent to show enthusiasm and desire. (I’d prefer an email to express this – orange would definitely not be appreciated next to my curtains!)
Pink roses show elegance and refinement . . . so, of course they’re my second favourites . . . They’re a more subtle way to indicate your admiration for someone.
Lavender roses are traditionally used to express feelings of love at first sight – can’t wait to receive these! Their unique shade sets off an enchantment of the imagination . . .
hmmm . . . now which did I say were my favourites?!
